Home Economics Chapter

Home Economics Chapter is the part of Aachol Foundation’s initiative to establish autonomous chapters in educational institutes to concentrate the efforts on mental health of students. Home Economic chapter was founded on 1st May, 2021. They formed their first official committee on 12 May through a recruitment process.The chapter includes students from four colleges;Govt. College of Applied Human Science, Bangladesh Home Economics College, National College of Home Economics , Akij Home Economics College. The chapter actually works as an autonomous club on behalf of Aachol Foundation. The Home Economics Chapter has a team of energetic, dedicated and active members who work in different teams based on their interests and hone their skills. Some of the teams are the Graphics team, Content team and Communication team.

The chapter organizes different campaigns and long publicity events which include an introduction video followed by mental health-related content posts with pictures to spread positivity and awareness to study-stricken students. It encourages students to join the chapter as members to develop their professional and organization skills and educate them about the 21st century demands from students. The Home Economic chapter also hosts live sessions on mental health related topics to make students aware about the availability of a safe haven to share their mental struggles. 

The future plan of Home Economics Chapter is to organize the engaging events on campus to reach 100% students and improve the mental health status of their campus to the best possible level.
